The Normandy coast has some of the best-known golf courses in France, many of them laid out on the dunes behind Deauville and Houlgate. The courses are private or semi-private clubs, and access for groups is arranged through the club's management, which sets the tee times and the number of players it can accept on a given day.
A typical programme runs as a scramble or stableford competition, with prizes for the winning teams and a lunch at the clubhouse. For groups with mixed levels, we can split the day into a clinic in the morning, with a professional, and a round in the afternoon. The evening is usually spent at a seafront hotel in Deauville, where the group can dine together.
The format suits a sales or leadership team, a client day or a team event that combines competition with informal conversation. Most clubs allow groups in the shoulder seasons, and high summer is often reserved for members.

- Golf courses on the Normandy coast can be windy and rainy, even in summer. Waterproof layers are advised.
- Groups may need to book well ahead, particularly for weekends and for the high season.
- Clubs often ask for a minimum number of players per time slot. The programme is confirmed once the club has accepted the booking.

Do all participants need a handicap?
Not always. Clubs usually require a handicap for competitive play. Beginners can join a clinic or play a non-competitive round. We check the club's rules for your group before confirming.
How far is Deauville from Paris?
Deauville is reached from Paris by car in around two hours, or by train from Paris Saint-Lazare with a connection, depending on the route. Groups are usually transferred by coach from Paris.
Can the programme be adapted for a corporate tournament?
Yes. We can set up team scoring, a corporate prize list and a branded programme, provided the club agrees to the format. Sponsorship and signage are subject to the club's own rules.
