Paris's private mansions, built between the seventeenth and nineteenth centuries, are among the few settings in the city where a corporate group can dance in rooms with carved panelling, gilt mirrors and painted ceilings. A masked ball is a natural format for this: it gives the evening a theatrical character, and it lets guests of different ranks mingle with ease.
We work with venues and event teams that have experience with private mansions. The programme begins with a reception in the garden or courtyard where weather permits, then moves to the salons for a seated dinner and a ball with live music. Masks, costumes and the dress code are proposed as options and agreed with the client in advance.
Because these buildings are protected and their use is regulated, the layout, the sound levels and the closing time follow the rules of each address.

Masks can be supplied for every guest, and costume hire can be arranged on request. Many groups prefer a dress code only, with guests choosing their own outfit. We propose the option that suits the group best.
How many guests can an hôtel particulier host?
Capacity depends on the building and on the layout chosen. Large salons can accommodate seated dinners and dancing for groups of a few dozen to around one hundred and fifty guests. The exact figure is confirmed after a site visit.
Is live music allowed in a historic mansion?
Live music is generally permitted within the agreed sound levels and hours. We confirm the venue's rules and the local noise regulations before the event, and we schedule the programme accordingly.
