Preguntas frecuentes
How should the schedule handle time differences from Asia and the Americas?
Asian capitals are typically 5 to 8 hours ahead of Paris, the US East Coast is 6 hours behind and Brazil and Argentina are 4 to 5 hours behind. Plenary sessions are placed in the Paris windows that fall in working hours at home: the morning for Asia-Pacific offices, early afternoon for the Americas. The first two days are kept light so that guests can recover before decisions are taken.
Do guests from Asia, the Americas or the Gulf need a visa for France?
Citizens of Japan, the United States, Canada, Brazil, Argentina and the UAE can usually stay in the Schengen Area for short business trips without a visa, but each traveller should check the rules and passport validity for their own nationality. Citizens of Thailand and Vietnam usually need a Schengen visa, and so generally do Chinese nationals; allow several weeks, as consular appointments can be scarce. Visa-exempt travellers should also check current rules on the EU travel authorisation (ETIAS) and its start date before booking.
Can the programme accommodate halal, vegetarian and seafood-allergy needs?
Yes. Dietary requirements are collected at registration, including halal, vegetarian, pork-free and seafood or shellfish allergies, and they are confirmed with the hotel and each restaurant before the programme is final. Not every gastronomic restaurant can guarantee halal preparation, so we confirm that in writing before a dinner is booked and propose an alternative where needed.
Are interpreters available for guests who do not speak English or French?
Yes, on request. Hosts and service teams work in English as standard. Simultaneous interpretation for plenary sessions, or a consecutive interpreter for workshops, can be arranged in languages such as Japanese, Mandarin, Portuguese or Arabic. Availability and cost depend on the dates and should be booked early.
How are luggage and early-morning arrivals handled?
Private coaches collect guests at Charles de Gaulle or Orly and luggage travels with the group. Early arrivals can leave their bags at the hotel and rest until rooms are ready. Departure transfers are timed to each flight or Eurostar train, with luggage held after check-out. We recommend allowing 45 to 60 minutes for the airport transfer, and more at peak hours.
