A DMC rooted in France, backed by GROUPE AVS Ltd
The French DMC is a brand of GROUPE AVS Ltd and has worked in the French corporate events market since 1996. That history matters in a country where the best venues, châteaux and restaurants are booked far ahead, and where access depends on long-standing relationships with owners, caterers and local authorities.
We act as the single point of contact for foreign agencies and companies that need France to work as smoothly as their home market. We negotiate with hotels and venues, secure private sites, coordinate transport and keep a clear line of communication from the first brief to the last transfer.
Our role is simple to state: we take responsibility for the destination, so that you can concentrate on your participants, your message and your commercial objectives.
What we do: the full range of corporate programmes
We organise seminars and board meetings, incentive trips, conventions and congresses, executive travel, team building, gala dinners and roadshows. Each format has its own logic, and we treat it as such rather than applying a single template.
A seminar needs well-equipped meeting rooms, reliable connectivity and a calm setting. An incentive has to feel rewarding and personal, with access that participants could not arrange alone. A convention depends on logistics: plenary rooms, breakout spaces, hotel blocks and transfers that run on time.
We also work as a partner to event agencies, which retain the client relationship while we provide local expertise, supplier access and operational delivery on the ground. Whatever the format, the programme is built from your objectives, not from a catalogue.
A tailored team, not a standard package
Every programme is handled by a dedicated team assembled for the brief. A project manager coordinates the whole file, specialists look after venues, transport, catering and activities, and an on-site team is present throughout the event.
This organisation keeps decisions fast and accountability clear. You know who is responsible for each part of the programme, and you receive precise information on options, constraints and costs before anything is confirmed.
We work in English and French, and the site is available in several other languages: Spanish, Portuguese, German, Dutch, Arabic and Russian. This matters for international groups, whose participants and decision-makers rarely share a single language. We adapt briefings, signage and on-site communication to the profile of the group, which keeps the experience coherent from arrival to departure.
All of France, with the constraints of the real country
France offers heritage, gastronomy, vineyards, mountains and coastline within a few hours of each other. It also has practical constraints that a foreign buyer rarely anticipates: strikes that can affect rail and air travel, public holidays and long summer closures, seasonal pricing, access rules for monuments, music licensing fees and VAT.
We present these constraints openly and build contingency into the programme: alternative transport, flexible timings, indoor options for outdoor activities and clear cancellation terms.
Our coverage extends to sixteen regions, from Paris and the Riviera to Bordeaux, Champagne, the Alps, Brittany and the Basque Coast. We recommend a destination because it fits your objectives, group size and season, not because it is the most familiar name, and we say so when a simpler or less costly option serves the brief better.
Our values: precision, discretion, honesty
Precision means that details are checked before they reach you: capacities, transfer times, access conditions and opening dates. When a figure cannot be confirmed with a reliable source, we say so rather than approximate.
Discretion matters to executive clients and to companies preparing sensitive events such as product launches, board retreats or incentive announcements. We handle information with care and limit it to those who need it.
Honesty applies to budgets and to recommendations. We give indicative ranges, explain what drives the cost, and tell you when a request is unrealistic for a given date or place. A clear no early in the process is more useful than a difficult surprise on the day.
These principles have guided the work since 1996, and they shape how we answer every brief.
