What is a DMC in France?
A DMC, or destination management company, is the local operator that designs and runs a corporate programme on the ground: hotels, venues, transport, restaurants and activities. The French DMC has done this since 1996 as a GROUPE AVS Ltd brand.
What size of group can you handle?
We organise programmes from a board meeting of about thirty people to conventions of up to 1,000 participants. The region, hotels and venues are chosen to match the size and format.
Which regions of France do you cover?
Sixteen regions, from Paris and the Île-de-France to the French Riviera, Provence, Lyon, Bordeaux, Champagne, the Loire Valley, Alsace, Brittany, Normandy and the Alps. Each has its own hotels, venues, restaurants and activities.
How do I start, and how quickly will you reply?
Send the brief form or telephone +33 1 40 40 06 07. You can leave open what is not yet decided. We aim to reply within 24 working hours.
Do you work with agencies as well as companies?
Yes. Event and travel agencies use us as their local operator, and companies approach us directly. We adapt the proposal and the level of visibility to the way you work with your own client.
What French constraints should foreign organisers anticipate?
Strikes, public and school holidays, reservations for private sites, VAT on services and music licensing are the main ones. We explain them in the proposal and prepare fallbacks where the risk is real.
