Toulouse & Occitanieが選ばれる理由

  • Toulouse is a major aerospace hub, with visits related to Airbus and the Aeroscopia museum (subject to security and availability).
  • MEETT, the convention and exhibition centre next to the airport, handles events from a few hundred to thousands of participants.
  • Carcassonne, the fortified Cité, is a UNESCO World Heritage site and a striking setting for evenings.
  • Montpellier combines a congress centre, a university city and the Mediterranean coast within reach.
  • The Canal du Midi, a UNESCO World Heritage site, supports boat, cycling and walking activities.
  • A regional cuisine (cassoulet, Toulouse sausage, Occitan wines) that groups remember.

空港アクセス

Toulouse-Blagnac (TLS): the main hub of Occitanie, with frequent flights from Paris (about 1h20) and many European connections. The airport is about 15 to 20 minutes from the city centre and close to the MEETT.

Montpellier-Méditerranée (MPL): an airport with connections to Paris and European cities, about 15 minutes from the city centre. Montpellier is also reached by TGV from Paris in about 3h15.

Carcassonne (CCF): a small airport, mainly low-cost. Carcassonne is about one hour from Toulouse by road.

Toulouse–Montpellier: regional and intercity trains link the two cities, and a coach transfer is often simpler for a group.

Trains from Paris to Toulouse take considerably longer than the flight, so air is generally the best option for the capital-to-Toulouse leg.

MICE受け入れ体制

MEETT (Toulouse Exhibition and Convention Centre), in Aussonne next to Toulouse-Blagnac airport, combines an exhibition park of about 40,000 m² divisible into seven halls with a convention centre whose plenary hall seats about 3,400 (744 to 3,364 depending on configuration, according to different sources). Overall figures given by sources vary, so we confirm configurations with the venue.

In Montpellier, Le Corum houses a conference centre and the Opéra Berlioz, which seats about 2,000 and can be reduced to about 800 with its movable wooden roof. For seminars of 30 to 300 people, Toulouse and Montpellier both have a good range of business and upscale hotels; Carcassonne suits smaller groups for evenings and cultural programmes.

ベストシーズン

  • March to June: mild, sunny weather, the most agreeable period for seminars and outdoor activities.
  • July and August: very hot in Toulouse and Carcassonne; the Carcassonne festival and summer events attract crowds. Montpellier benefits from sea breezes.
  • September to October: warm days and the grape harvest; very good for incentives.
  • November to February: mild winters and good availability; the best period for budget-conscious seminars.
  • Toulouse hosts many trade shows and congresses in the spring and autumn: check the MEETT calendar to avoid peaks in hotel demand.

よくあるご質問

How do participants reach Toulouse from Paris?

Most groups fly: the flight takes about 1h20 and there are many daily departures from Orly and Roissy-Charles de Gaulle. Toulouse-Blagnac is close to the city and to the MEETT.

What is the capacity of the MEETT?

The MEETT has an exhibition park of about 40,000 m² divisible into seven halls and a convention centre with a plenary hall of about 3,400 seats. Sources give varying overall capacities, so we confirm the configuration with the venue.

Can we visit aerospace sites with a group?

Yes, with visits such as Aeroscopia and the Cité de l'espace, and industrial site visits where security conditions allow. Access to industrial sites is subject to authorisation and lead times, so request them early.

Is it possible to combine Toulouse, Carcassonne and Montpellier?

Yes. Carcassonne is about one hour from Toulouse by road and is often a half-day or evening extension. Montpellier is further and is better for a separate stay or a second leg of a longer programme.

What is the best season for Toulouse and Occitanie?

Spring and early autumn are the most comfortable. Summer is hot in Toulouse and Carcassonne, and winters are mild. We check the MEETT and city event calendars to avoid peaks in hotel demand.

Can a gala dinner be held inside the Cité de Carcassonne?

Evenings in the Cité are possible in selected venues and restaurants, subject to availability and local authorisations. Capacity and conditions are confirmed case by case, and we advise early booking in summer.
