Versailles is one of the most visited monuments in Europe, and its surroundings include several châteaux and estates that host corporate and private events. For groups who want the grandeur of a royal setting without the crowds, a dinner in a château near Versailles offers a calmer and more controlled evening.
We select venues in the Versailles area that have event spaces and experience hosting groups. The programme can include a guided walk through the gardens at dusk, a formal dinner and an after-dinner performance, and it can be adapted for a board, a sales convention or a client event.
The town is about 30 minutes by RER C from central Paris, which makes the evening easy to reach for a group arriving from Paris or the airports.

Da sapere
- Access to the palace and gardens after closing is subject to the site's own rules and may not be possible on every date. We never promise it before written confirmation.
- The gardens' fountain displays run only on certain days and times; they depend on the season and the site's schedule.
- Evenings in the Versailles area are quieter than central Paris, so transfers should be planned with the return time in mind.
- Allow extra time in summer, when the Versailles site is busiest.

Domande frequenti
Can we visit the palace of Versailles during our dinner?
A visit to the palace after closing is possible only on certain dates, under the site's own conditions. We include it only when the palace confirms it in writing, and otherwise propose an alternative programme.
How long does it take to reach Versailles from Paris?
The RER C takes about 30 minutes from central Paris to Versailles Rive Gauche, and a coach from a central Paris hotel takes around 40 to 60 minutes depending on traffic. We advise a coach for groups above 20 people.
Is the Versailles area suitable for a sales incentive?
Yes. The setting suits recognition evenings and client events, and the programme can be shaped around the group's objectives. We recommend a briefing call first to agree the tone and the format.
