Chenonceau is one of the most visited châteaux in France, and one of the most unusual: its gallery spans the River Cher, and its gardens and rooms reflect five centuries of royal and aristocratic life. A guided visit with a private group allows time for the gallery, the kitchens and the gardens, with the history of the women who shaped the house.
The visit is paired with a tasting of Loire wines. The valley produces a wide range of styles, from crisp Sauvignon Blanc and Muscadet to Chenin Blanc, Cabernet Franc and sparkling Crémant. We select a producer in the area and propose a seated tasting, with regional cheeses and charcuterie, in a setting that suits your group.
The full day can be extended to Amboise, Chambord or a riverside lunch, with a private coach throughout.
