The Loire Valley has a number of châteaux that are available for private hire, from family estates with modest bedroom counts to larger properties that suit a full corporate programme. Each château sets its own rules on use, capacity, noise and catering, and availability is limited by the owners' calendars and by the château's own events. We approach the owners directly and confirm a booking only once the terms are agreed in writing.
When a château is available, the programme is built around its rooms and grounds. A gala dinner in the main salon, a seminar in a smaller room, and a visit of the nearby châteaux of Chenonceau or Amboise give the group a clear structure over three days. Wine tastings with local producers and a morning on a bicycle or a boat along the Loire add variety.
The format suits a senior leadership retreat, a client programme or a long-service celebration. We advise on the number of bedrooms, the layout of rooms and the logistics of transfers from Tours or Paris before the château is confirmed.

- Heating, access and parking can be limited in older buildings, particularly in winter. These are checked during the site visit.
- Châteaux often ask for a deposit at booking, with a fixed cancellation schedule set by the owner.

How many guests can a château accommodate?
It depends on the château. Capacity is set by the number of bedrooms, the size of the salons and the rules of the property. We provide a shortlist with confirmed capacities once the group size is known.
Is the château suitable for a seminar as well as a dinner?
Many do, but the number of rooms and their configuration vary. We check whether a seminar layout and a gala dinner can run on the same property without disruption.
How far is the Loire Valley from Paris?
Tours and Blois are reached from Paris by high-speed train in roughly one hour and a bit to just over an hour, depending on the station. Most châteaux are then a short coach transfer away.
