Summer around Megève is a good season for a team rally by bike. The route follows forest tracks, quiet roads and mountain pastures in the valleys around the resort, with views towards the Mont-Blanc massif that change with every bend. The rally is organised as a series of stages. Each team receives a road book with checkpoints, a few questions on the landscape and the local heritage, and a short challenge at each stop, such as a timed section or a navigation task. A guide leads the group, sets the pace and gives a safety briefing at the start. A support vehicle can follow the group on request for riders who prefer to stop early. Helmets and a basic repair kit are provided.
The day ends with a lunch in a mountain restaurant or a picnic in a meadow, with the results announced in the afternoon. The format suits an incentive programme, a team outing between seminar sessions or a summer welcome day for a new team. Routes are adjusted to the weather, to the level of the group and to the condition of the trails, and the guide chooses the final itinerary on the day.
