Snowshoeing is one of the easiest ways to experience the winter Alps. Walks around Megève follow forest tracks and open slopes, and the guide sets a pace that lets participants of all levels keep up. For a corporate group, the walk is a relaxed, social format that works well as a break in a winter programme.

Snowshoes, poles and a short briefing are provided at the start point. The guide chooses a route according to snow conditions, the avalanche bulletin and the group's level, and includes stops for views and explanations of the local landscape and wildlife. Routes are chosen to keep the group away from avalanche-prone terrain, and the guide can change the route at short notice. The walk suits a welcome programme, a short team outing between sessions, or an evening that begins with a walk and continues with a fondue or a dinner in the resort.

よくあるご質問

Do participants need to be fit?

No special fitness is needed for the standard walk. The guide sets the pace and can shorten the route for the least experienced participant.

Are snowshoes included?

Yes. Snowshoes and poles are included in the standard price. Participants should bring their own warm clothing and boots.

What if there is no snow?

Snowshoeing depends on natural snow. If conditions are insufficient, the activity is replaced by a guided walk on lower paths or a programme in the resort.
