The Louvre is the largest museum in the world and, during public hours, is hard to enjoy at close range. A private visit lets your group walk the galleries with a licensed guide-conférencier, focused on the works that matter most to your audience: Italian Renaissance painting, French art, the Egyptian collections or the decorative arts.
Access outside public opening hours is granted by the museum case by case. We submit a precise request with the group profile, the number of participants and the preferred window, and we confirm only what the museum has approved. Where a closed-hours visit is not possible, we propose a private guided tour in a reserved slot, which is often just as rewarding.
The visit combines well with a private dinner in Paris, a Seine cruise or a reception at a nearby venue, to build a complete programme for an executive committee or an incentive group.
目的
- Give the group exclusive, unhurried access to major masterpieces
- Anchor the programme in French art and history

流れ
- 1We submit a request to the museum's private-visits department with the group profile and preferred dates.
- 2Once the museum confirms availability and conditions, we brief you on the route and the guide's focus.
- 3Participants meet the guide at a dedicated entrance, with security arrangements prepared in advance.
- 4The guided visit lasts about two hours, with time for questions and free exploration.
- 5Optionally, a private dinner or a transfer to the next venue is arranged.
ご留意事項
- Museum admission and any closed-hours supplement are charged separately, under the museum's conditions.
- Requests are subject to approval; closed-hours access cannot be guaranteed for every date.
- Above about 25 people, the group is usually divided into two guided sub-groups.
- Wear comfortable shoes: the museum is vast and walking distances are considerable.
参考予算
Indicative: from about €180 per person for a private guided visit of a group of 15 to 25, excluding museum admission and any closed-hours supplement. Exact quote on request.
よくあるご質問
Can we visit the Louvre when it is closed to the public?
Sometimes. Access outside public hours is granted by the museum case by case and cannot be guaranteed for a given date. We submit a complete request and confirm only what is approved. If it is refused, we propose a private guided tour in a reserved slot instead.
How far in advance should we book?
For a closed-hours request we recommend at least three to four months ahead, as the museum weighs requests against its exhibition and event calendar. Private guided tours during public hours usually offer more flexibility.
Is the visit suitable for a non-French-speaking group?
Yes. Our guides work in English and can deliver the visit in other languages on request, subject to guide availability. Please state the language in your brief.
