Versailles is one of the most visited estates in Europe, so access and timing come first. The hunt is therefore designed for the park and gardens, where teams move between fountains, groves and viewpoints, following clues written in the spirit of the court of Louis XIV. Each riddle asks teams to observe the landscape, recall a historical detail and make a collective decision.
Routes are checked against the estate's rules on group movement and events before a date is fixed. Access to the palace and any indoor element depend on the estate's ticketing and availability, and are confirmed separately.

Domande frequenti
Does the treasure hunt take place inside the palace?
No. The hunt is designed for the park and gardens. Palace access depends on the estate's own rules and is booked separately if required.
Can the hunt be run on fountain display days?
Yes, and these days are among the most popular. Fountain displays follow the estate's programme, so we confirm them when choosing a date.
How long does the hunt last?
Most hunts take between two and three hours including the briefing and the final ceremony, which fits well before an early evening reception.
