We book a terrace or restaurant with a sea view for the group, with a seated dinner built around fish caught locally, Basque specialities and regional wines. The reception can be held on the terrace at sunset, and the group can be introduced to the local history of the coast by the host.
Because the coast is exposed to wind and swell, the programme includes an indoor option, and the exact layout is confirmed for each date.

The TGV from Paris Montparnasse reaches Bayonne in about four hours and a half, and Biarritz is a short transfer from the station. Flights to Biarritz airport are also a practical option from several French and European cities.
Is the dinner held outdoors?
The reception is often outdoors and the dinner may be held on the terrace, depending on the weather and the season. An indoor room is always reserved as an alternative.
Which seasons work best?
Late spring and early autumn combine mild temperatures, good light and manageable crowds. Summer is the busiest season, and winter evenings are best held indoors.
