Megève and the Mont Blanc valleys have a long tradition of alpine hospitality, from the chalets of the old village to the lodges and farms above the slopes. A gala in a private chalet offers the warmth of the mountains combined with the level of service expected by a corporate group.

We work with chalets and mountain hosts who can accommodate evening events, and with caterers who prepare mountain cuisine, including cheeses, cured meats, fondue and regional wines. The evening begins with a reception by the fire, moves to a seated dinner and can end with a view of the mountains lit by the moon or with a short walk under the stars.

The group is accommodated in local hotels or chalets, and the programme follows the snow and transport conditions of the season.

Objectives

  • Offer a warm, high-end alpine evening for clients or incentive winners
  • Combine a fireside reception with a seated dinner of mountain cuisine
  • Use the mountain setting to create a memorable, distinctly French programme

How it works

  1. 1Selection of a chalet or mountain estate according to group size, date and access conditions.
  2. 2Transfer from Geneva airport by coach, which takes about one hour and a half to Megève.
  3. 3Fireside reception with a welcome drink and local cheeses.
  4. 4Seated dinner of mountain cuisine, with regional wines.
  5. 5Optional walk under the stars or a short musical programme, then transfers back.

Good to know

  • Access to chalets in winter may depend on snow conditions; the coach company and the chalet confirm the route on the day.
  • Evening temperatures in the mountains are low, even in summer; warm clothing should be provided for the group.
  • Chalets are often smaller than hotel ballrooms, so the group size is confirmed against the layout.
  • Peak season in winter means that hotel rooms in Megève book early.

Indicative budget

Indicative, from €340 per person excluding VAT, for a fireside reception and seated mountain dinner in a private chalet. The price depends on the chalet, the season, the menu and the transfers. Accommodation is quoted separately.

Frequently asked questions

Is Megève reachable from Paris in a day?

Yes. The train from Paris Gare de Lyon to Sallanches takes about three hours, with a coach to Megève afterwards. Geneva airport is the most common arrival point, about an hour and a half by coach.

Can the gala be held in winter?

Yes, and winter is one of the most popular seasons for alpine galas. Transfers and access depend on snow conditions, and we plan a second route for safety.

Is the chalet suitable for a larger group?

Larger groups may need two chalets or a mountain estate with a large room. We confirm the layout and the capacity for each site, and we do not promise a number until the site has confirmed it.
