The Circuit Paul Ricard is one of the reference test and racing tracks in Europe, set in the hills behind Bandol in the Var. Driving days are run by specialist operators who provide the cars, the instructors and the safety framework. The day is structured around progressive sessions: participants start with an instructor in the passenger seat, then move to their own driving, with time for briefings and rest between runs.

For a corporate group, the format works best as a shared challenge rather than a test of speed. Teams can compare lap times on a controlled basis, or take part in short driving exercises that focus on braking, cornering and control. The day ends with a debrief and a lunch, which gives the group a common story to share.

The programme suits a leadership reward, a client experience or a team event that rewards focus and precision. Availability depends on the track calendar, which includes public events and private test sessions.

Objectives

  • Offer a high-impact experience that is safe and supervised
  • Build team cohesion through a shared challenge on track
  • Reward performance with an experience that is clearly different from a hotel event
  • Combine a practical skills session on control and precision with a relaxed lunch

How it works

  1. 1We confirm the track date with the operator and agree the car line-up, the group size and the format of the sessions.
  2. 2The group attends a safety briefing and receives the instructions for each session before taking to the track.
  3. 3Participants drive in progressive sessions, starting as passengers with an instructor and moving on to their own driving.
  4. 4A lunch is served at the circuit between sessions, with the afternoon programme adjusted to the group's pace.
  5. 5The day ends with a debrief, and the group returns to its hotel by private transfer.

Good to know

  • Participants must hold a valid driving licence and meet the operator's age and experience criteria. Some restrictions apply to certain vehicles.
  • Track days are subject to strict safety rules, including helmets and closed shoes where required, and the instructors' decisions are final on track.
  • Driving days are physically and mentally demanding. We advise participants to get a good night's sleep and to avoid alcohol beforehand.
  • Insurance and damage conditions are set by the operator. Please check the terms before confirming.

Indicative budget

Indicative, from around €950 per person excluding VAT for a day with several track sessions, instruction and lunch. Prices vary with the vehicles, the number of sessions and the group size. Subject to the track calendar and the operator's terms.

Frequently asked questions

Do participants need prior driving experience on track?

No. The sessions are progressive, and instructors adapt the pace to each participant. Experienced drivers and first-timers can be grouped separately so that everyone gets the right level of challenge.

Is the day suitable for a mixed group, including non-drivers?

Yes. Participants who prefer not to drive can take part as passengers in a supervised session, or join the lunch and the debrief. The programme can be adapted to the group's preferences.

Is the circuit open all year?

The circuit hosts events throughout the year, but dates for private driving days depend on the calendar and on weather. Spring and early autumn are the most reliable periods for groups.
