Paris rewards a team that reads its map and its clues. In this rally, each crew of two takes the wheel of a classic Citroën 2CV and follows a sealed road book through central Paris, from the Marais to the banks of the Seine. Each stage combines a short history of the district with practical challenges: a parking manoeuvre, a photo brief, a quiz on the city and a checkpoint at a café terrace.
The format suits mixed groups. Roles rotate between driver, navigator and scorer, and the ranking reflects accuracy, teamwork and timing rather than speed. Routes avoid the busiest corridors where possible and are adjusted on the day for roadworks or city events.
Objectives
- Build trust and communication between team members
- Discover central Paris from an unusual angle
- Rotate roles so that every participant takes responsibility
- Create shared photos and a memorable team story
How it works
- 1Crews of two are briefed at a meeting point near the start and receive their road book and rules
- 2Each crew drives its 2CV through three to four stages linked by clues
- 3Challenges at each stage award points for accuracy, creativity and teamwork
- 4The rally ends at a café terrace with a debrief and a prize ceremony
Good to know
- Drivers must hold a valid driving licence; passengers are welcome to take on the navigator role
- Early-morning starts avoid the busiest traffic; check the Paris calendar for marathons and city events
- Vehicles have a manual gearbox and a low seating position, which may not suit every participant; please share needs in advance
- An indoor finale can be arranged in case of heavy rain
Indicative budget
Indicatively from €140 to €190 per person excluding VAT, depending on group size, vehicle availability and the café finale. Final figures are confirmed in the proposal.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can take part in a 2CV rally?
Most formats work from 10 to 80 participants, with teams of two per vehicle. Larger groups start in waves so that crews do not share the same streets at the same time.
Do participants need driving experience?
Drivers need a valid licence. Experience with a manual gearbox helps but is not essential: a short briefing and a practice loop at the start cover the basics.
Can the rally be combined with a dinner?
Yes. The rally is often followed by a dinner or cocktail in central Paris. We arrange timings to suit the evening programme and transfers back to the hotel.
