Few settings in France carry the weight of Versailles. For a corporate dinner, the palace offers an unmatched backdrop: gilded rooms, candlelit terraces and the gardens after dark, in a setting that guests remember long after the event. Private dinners are hosted in reserved halls of the domain, with the menu, service and décor designed around your group.

Because the palace is a national monument with a demanding conservation policy, every event is subject to the domain's rules and calendar. The Galerie des Glaces and the state apartments are not always available for private use. We confirm the exact venue, the guided access and the capacity with the domain before any commitment is made.

The dinner can be preceded by a private guided visit of the palace or the Trianon estate, and followed by a return to Paris by private coach.

Objectives

  • Host guests in one of the most recognised settings in the world
  • Reward teams or clients with a distinctly French occasion
  • Combine heritage access with a refined, managed dinner

How it works

  1. 1We check the domain's calendar and the availability of a suitable private hall for your date and capacity.
  2. 2We agree the menu, service style, décor and timings with the domain's event team and our chef partner.
  3. 3Guests arrive by private coach and are received at a dedicated entrance, with an optional guided visit before dinner.
  4. 4The dinner is served in the reserved hall, with a sommelier-led wine selection.
  5. 5Guests return to Paris by private coach at an agreed time.

Good to know

  • Dates and rooms depend on the domain's events calendar, including state and cultural programmes; we cannot guarantee a given evening.
  • Dress code is usually semi-formal or formal; we advise you to share it with guests in advance.
  • Fountain shows and night events in the gardens are seasonal and depend on the domain's programme.
  • Allow generous time for security and access, especially for larger groups.

Indicative budget

Indicative: from about €290 per person for a private dinner of 40 to 80 guests, excluding accommodation, transport and the optional guided visit. Final price depends on venue, menu and service. Quote on request.

Frequently asked questions

Can we dine in the Hall of Mirrors?

Not always. The Hall of Mirrors and the state apartments are subject to the palace's own conservation and event rules. We check availability with the domain and propose alternative private halls where needed.

Is the dinner suitable for a group of 100 or more?

Yes, for suitable halls and dates. Larger groups may require a split across two rooms or a seated buffet format. We confirm capacity and layout with the domain before any commitment.

How far ahead should we book?

Plan at least six months ahead for a Versailles dinner, and longer for autumn and December dates, which are the most in demand. Early enquiry gives the best choice of halls and dates.
