A charter on the Mediterranean is one of the most discreet formats for a senior group. The boat leaves from a port on the Côte d'Azur or along the Provence coast, and the route is built around the sea conditions, the season and the group's wishes: a bay for swimming, a coastal village for lunch, or a passage between the islands off Hyères.

The crew handles navigation, safety and service. Catering can be planned on board with a chef or a local caterer, and wines are selected from the owner's cellar or sourced to order. Charter availability and the boat itself are confirmed for each date, and every vessel is checked against the operator's safety documentation before departure.

The format suits a board retreat at sea, a client hospitality day or a reward for a regional sales team. Overnight charters are possible on request.

Objectives

  • Create a calm, private setting for a leadership discussion
  • Host clients on the water without the constraints of a hotel venue
  • Make a day at sea a shared, memorable reward
  • Show the Côte d'Azur and Provence coast from a different angle

How it works

  1. 1We select the boat and crew according to the group size, the route and the season, and confirm availability for your dates.
  2. 2The group joins the yacht at the port of departure, where the captain briefs guests on safety and on board arrangements.
  3. 3The route is planned with the captain according to weather, sea state and the group's preferences.
  4. 4Lunch and drinks are served on board, with menus and wine agreed in advance.
  5. 5The yacht returns to port at the agreed time, with transfers arranged to the hotel or onward programme.

Good to know

  • Sea conditions and the weather can change the route. A flexible plan with alternative anchorages is always prepared.
  • Charter availability is limited in high season, particularly in July and August. Book early for summer dates.
  • Guests should bring suitable clothing for sea conditions, and passengers who are prone to seasickness should consult a doctor beforehand.
  • Prices depend on the vessel, the crew and the duration. Fuel, port fees and catering are usually listed separately.

Indicative budget

Indicative, from around €900 per person excluding VAT for a day charter with lunch, based on a group of around ten guests. Final pricing depends on the vessel, season, route and catering, and is subject to availability.

Frequently asked questions

Is a crew included?

Yes. A charter with crew is the standard format for a corporate group. The crew handles navigation, safety and service, so guests can focus on the programme.

Which ports are used?

Departures are usually from Cannes, Nice, Antibes, Saint-Tropez or Marseille, depending on the boat and the route. The port is confirmed with the captain once the itinerary is set.

Can the group arrange an overnight charter?

Overnight charters are possible on request, subject to the vessel's availability, the cabin configuration and the crew's schedule. They require a longer lead time than a day charter.
