Frequently asked questions
When is the best time for a gala weekend on the Riviera?
May, June and September offer warm weather without the peak of July and August. Major events in Monaco and Cannes should be avoided unless they are part of the plan.
Can we hold the gala in Monaco and stay in France?
Yes. Many guests stay in Cap-Ferrat, Nice or Cannes, and travel to Monaco for the evening. Private transfers are organised both ways.
Are passports needed to go to Monaco?
There are no systematic border checks between France and Monaco, but guests should always carry valid identification. Entry rules for France depend on nationality.
