Two ways to reach us
The simplest way to begin is the brief form on this site. It takes a few minutes and asks for what we need to propose something relevant: who you are, what kind of event you plan, how many participants, the period and the regions you are considering. Anything you do not yet know can be left open; we complete it with you.
If you prefer to speak, telephone us on +33 1 40 40 06 07. A member of the team will listen to your project and tell you what is feasible, what to watch for and which information would help us start.
We work in English and French, and the form lets you indicate your preferred language among those the site offers. If you are an agency, please say so in the form: the way we collaborate with agencies differs from the way we work with a company directly, and we adapt our proposal accordingly.
Whichever route you take, you will deal with people who know the French market well and who will remain your contacts throughout the project.
What to include in your brief
A useful brief does not need to be long. Four elements are enough to start: the type of event, the number of participants, the dates or period, and the regions or cities under consideration.
The following details help us refine the proposal, if you have them: the profile of the group and the objective of the programme; the level of hotel you expect; whether you need restaurants, activities or a gala evening; a budget range per person or overall, stating whether it includes tax; and your deadline for a reply.
If your organisation runs a tender, tell us and share the timetable. If dietary, accessibility or security requirements apply, mention them at once, since they influence the choice of venues.
You can also attach a document or add free text. The form asks for your consent to process the data you send, as required by data protection rules, and we use the information only to answer your request.
If some of this is still undecided, say so. Our team is accustomed to working from a partial brief and helping to define the rest.
What happens after you write
Your message is read by a person, not sorted by an automatic system. We aim to reply within 24 working hours, either with the answers to your first questions or with a short list of points to clarify.
The next steps depend on the project. For a simple request, we can send an outline of options with indicative costs. For a larger or more complex programme, we usually propose a call to understand the objectives, followed by a written proposal with venues, programme, conditions and timings.
The proposal is revised with you until it matches your needs. Only when you approve it do we confirm reservations with the suppliers, always with conditions stated in advance. We do not ask you to commit before you have seen what is included.
During the preparation and on site, you keep the same project manager. If your schedule is tight, tell us at the first contact: we will say honestly whether the time available allows the quality you expect, and what we recommend if it does not.
Agencies, companies and partners
We receive requests from several kinds of organisations, and we adapt our approach to each of them.
Event and travel agencies use us as their local operator in France. We provide proposals that can be integrated into their own offer, with clear costs and conditions, and we remain in the background or in contact with the end client, as they prefer.
Companies approach us directly for seminars, incentives, conventions, team building or executive programmes. In this case we work with the travel manager, the HR department or the sales or communications team who owns the project.
Associations, institutions and organisers of congresses contact us for delegate programmes, accompanying persons' tours and social events.
The French DMC is a brand of GROUPE AVS Ltd and has been active in France since 1996. If you wish to discuss a long-term collaboration rather than a single project, indicate it in your message, and we will arrange a conversation with the right person.
